Lesley Ann Grabias
Lesley has been planning events for over ten years in the Washington Metropolitan area. Lesley joined Carte Blanche Events, LLC in 2006. With her professionalism, sense of style and meticulous attention to detail, Lesley ensures your day will be memorable. She finds great joy in planning and coordinating weddings, allowing the bride, groom, family and guests to simply enjoy the momentous occasion and celebration.
In addition to her work with Carte Blanche Events, LLC, Lesley serves as the Special Events Coordinator for the United States Capitol Visitor Center. She has planned and executed several high-profile events such as United States Gold Medal Ceremonies, Swearing-in Ceremonies, statue unveilings, political briefings, historical reenactments and the opening of the Capitol Visitor Center, the largest expansion of the United States Capitol building to date.
Prior to her work at the United States Capitol, Lesley served as both Marketing Manager and then as the Director of Events for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). At her years with the NRSC she assisted in the successful coordination of several special events ranging from small dinners featuring Members of the United States Senate, Inaugural balls, the Republican National Convention to The Annual President’s Dinner with several thousand guests in attendance.
Lesley is a graduate of James Madison University. In addition, she has been trained by the renowned Protocol School of Washington in social and international protocol. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Washington, DC Chapter of the International Special Events Society and is a member of the National Association of Catering Executives. Lesley lives in the Wesley Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC.
