An amusement for the senses decorated this magnificent evening for Sarah & KC

Finding the perfect location was key to this destination wedding the Maritime Museum with its rich history & waterfront views was perfect; it also allowed for us to use the many unique buildings to host all of the events

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to telling the stories of the Chesapeake Bay and the people who have shaped their lives around it

Situated on 18 waterfront acres in the historic town of St. Michaels, Maryland, the Museum offers exhibits, demonstrations, boat rides on the Miles River, and annual festivals that celebrate Chesapeake Bay culture, boats, seafood, and history

We incorporated many land & water elements to create an earthy & elegant outdoor wedding & reception

We created a menu serving native Rockfish which is a Chesapeake Bay icon

We used a unique style tent, a sailcloth tent along with rustic floors shipped in from Nantucket, gave an authentic feel

Handmade Pergola was the centerpiece of the tent that outlined the families head table; which consisted of two oversized farm tables featuring a handmade table runner that lay underneath long distressed wooden boxes that ran along the length of the tables.  This was punctuated by a variety lush and highly textured flowers that ran the length of the wooden boxes and accented by small rope balls, white nautical floats and a multitude of vintage candles.  Mercury glass votives hung from the pergola adding warm illumination with a romantic flair.
